Registration Fees

When a child is enrolled into the center there will be a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 required to guarantee placement. This DOES NOT apply to the first month’s fees.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RUN OFF OF THE LANGLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT CALENDAR FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR

All fees are non-refundable. This includes absences due to illness, head lice, family vacations and statutory holidays. All fees are payable at the first of each month. Any alternate arrangements for payment MUST be made prior to the payment being due.

There will be a $20.00 fee if a cheque bounces. Receipts are available upon request and can be issued at the receipt of the payment or annually for tax purposes.

Late Fees: The center is closed at 6:00pm sharp. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for every 20 minutes or (portion thereof) for anyone arriving after 6:00pm.

Termination of care: Written notice of termination is required ONE MONTH PRIOR to your child’s departure from the center or you may choose to pay a month’s fee in lieu of the one-month notice.

TRANSPORTATION

Vehicle travel is a daily event for our Out of School Care Program. All children will be fastened in an age appropriate car seat and buckled at all times.

School age children will be transported to and from school by a qualified staff member of the center. Children will arrive at the school 5 min prior to bell time and dropped off at the front door (at that time the schools will have active supervision out front). Once your child is dropped off they are directed to go and line up at their classroom (at this point your child is signed out of Daycare and is now in the care of the school. Children are not walked to the classroom by staff. Parents will need to make arrangements with the school if they are wishing for their child to wait at the office for the bell. *please note that children will never be dropped off when supervision is not available by the school.

Pick-up will also occur at the front of the school doors. Once the bell has rung the children are expected to proceed to the front of the school to wait for pick up. Supervision is offered by the schools for 15 min after the release bell has rung. Children will be picked up during that time. Attendance will be taken and once accounted for the children are now signed back into the center.

For younger children if parents have arranged for the child to wait at the office for pick up, please communicate this with staff and it is not a problem for the staff to pick them up at the office.
