SEPARATION ISSUES

To ease the separation anxiety that some children may experience, parents are welcome to send a familiar item from home that will be of some comfort. Parents are welcome to call at any time to discuss how their child is doing.

We also recommend, for those children having a harder time with separation, that parents help to ease their child into the daycare environment by using a “gradual entry” system. This just simply means to ease your child into daycare by making the first few days shorter. You can do this by keeping the stay limited to few hours and increasing the stay as the child is feeling more comfortable.

At Curious Kids Children`s Center we like to focus on the social aspects of day to day life. Building relationships and exploring are our focus. We ask that all screens be left at home.
